Hello, My name is Christian Johnson, and I am running for office in Peoria County's 4th District. Peoria is a wonderful community, with a storied past and a bright future. Our beautiful county on the Illinois River possesses the ingredients necessary to grow and to prosper like never before, but to unlock this potential we need strong, responsible, local leadership. We owe it to the next generation to band together and build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous home.
Come election day, I hope you will consider me for your representative on the Peoria County Board. Through my small business, energy sector, and military experience I have gained the skills necessary to manage complex systems and find future-focused solutions. I will always support fiscal responsibility and the protection of your tax dollar.
As a husband and expectant father, the safety and prosperity of our county are my top priorities. Our children need a safe place to grow up, and the opportunity to succeed and prosper once they do. I will support local job creation and work with law enforcement to keep our home a great place to live.

My Promise to You.
I will use my business background to stop chronic overspending and lower our record-high property taxes. Poor financial decisions, such as the Heddington Oaks Senior Center, have cost our county millions while failing to provide promised services.
I will adequately fund law enforcement to protect our community.
Former Sheriff Asbell, who stepped down after only one term, blasted the County Board for ignoring the dire need for resources to protect our community.
