Q: What do you do for a living?
A: I am an energy advocate who provides education on renewables and other forms of power generation to communities across southern and central Illinois.
Q: Do you have any other work experience?
A: I have considerable experience in the construction industry, with almost a decade spent helping to grow my family's commercial solar startup from only 4 people to almost 75 people before I left to begin my advocacy work. I am also a Chaplain Candidate in the the Army National Guard .*
Q: What education do you have?
A: I attended night school so that I could continue working full time while I completed my Masters of Business Administration, and Bachelors of Business Science from Pepperdine's Graziadio School of Business.
Q: What Political Party are you affiliated with?
A: I am running as a Republican.
Q: Do you have any political experience?
A: My work has connected me with leaders in many communities to discuss the benefits of passing positive local ordinances. In 2021 I reignited the local Peoria young republicans. As Chairman of the Peoria County Young Republicans I help teach young conservatives how to navigate local politics and support the community.
Q: Who is Olivia Johnson? What does she do?
A: Olivia is my lovely wife! She is a special education teacher, and a huge part of my campaign efforts. Olivia and I have known each other for over 20 years since way back in grade school! We are expecting a little one this November, the same week as the election!
